BOOK Animal Transitions: From Hospice thru End-of-Life for Your Animal Companion THE BOOK IN PROGRESS

This book is in progress.

Animal Transitions: From Diagnosis thru End-of-Life.
A Guide for creating a good death–including hospice care and what to know, how to talk to kids, creating sacred space, ceremony, ritual, plus, do animals have souls, and final decisions.

“Animal doula, advocate and former shelter worker, Michelle McKenzie, shares important steps from decision making to celebration as your companion animal nears death.”

If you have stories to share about your experiences with the loss of your animal, I’d love to hear from you! I’ll let you know if I use your story.

This book will help understand, plan and navigate the upcoming death of your companion animal. Topics include hospice care, what does a good death look like, creating sacred space, the ceremonies you’ve used, healing modalities that compliment medical treatment, do animals know they’re dying, helping kids cope, and much more.
I’d love to hear your stories and perhaps use them in my book. Right now I’m looking for your personal experiences with any of the following types of treatments. You can post them here or direct message me.
Please note that you can ask to keep your name out of the book. I can’t promise you a copy of the book at this time though. And I will quite likely edit your story.
Thanking you in advance and looking forward to hearing from you!
